Weltschmerz

This film is near and dear to my heart, because it involved quite a lot of passion, and compassion from everyone involved. As sensitive as the issue of Germany in the 1940's was, it was a huge challenge to play the other side of the story:  a Nazi soldier. Stepping into the head of this character was one of the most difficult challenges I've had to face as an actor. Loving Johann Richter was a very disheartening process, but that's something that we have to do. We have to fall in love with the humans we play, even if they are horrific people.

This film can finally be viewed on www.filmshortage.com!

PLUNDER

An award winning short film I wrote, directed, acted in, edited, and produced,  made its festival premiere at The California International Shorts Fest in 2018! It has since screened at 7 other festivals, and was given Best Short Thriller At The Silicon Beach Film Festival in April 2018 as well as Best Sound Design short at Culver City Film Festival in December 2018. It recently screened in Burbank at Show Your Shortz, and screened at Thriller! Chiller! in Grand Rapids, MI in October 2018! It will screen at its last film festival in my homestate of MI at The Threadbare Film Festival in Lansing, MI in September!

This project was my writing and directorial debut, and I am thrilled how it all turned out!

The Button (Sketch Comedy)

onewordnocaps presents a hilarious sketch about being able to push a button, and having the situation turn out in your favor. Was very happy to play the cop in this one.

 Two-Shot (Currently not online yet)

Completed for a company called, Some Assembly Required, I was cast in this really awesome short in which two guys battle it out between themselves to obtain a precious item that is worth thousands of dollars. This one was a really fun one to shoot!

 California Godfather

I am so happy to a part of a sketch comedy troupe called onewordnocaps! We write all of our own stuff, and are now into Season 4. I joined in Season 3 and couldn't be happier in maintaining my creativity through comedy, so that I can balance out the crap load of dramatic stuff that I do haha.

This sketch parodies The Godfather, which adds in a bit of an issue we always have here in California...

Time In

Recently made its world premiere in the Riverside Saginaw Film Festival in Michigan on November 6, 2010!

Short Synopsis:
While waiting for a connecting flight, Krista plays games with her former lover, Glenn.

PATIENT ZERO

Sean McCarthy wakes up from a haunting dream to discover a mysterious pair of doctors in his apartment. They tell him that an aerosol device planted by terrorists infected him with a deadly virus while he was taking the New York City subway system to see a play starring his girlfriend, Megan. They do not believe that Sean will live very much longer. As they treat him nonetheless, Sean loses consciousness and drifts between reality and the dream-like memories of his last encounter with Megan, their conversations mixing with the words he overhears from the doctors. When a security guard accidentally informs Sean that the disease is spreading in the general populace, he decides to break out and make sure Megan is unharmed. But the virus may have weakened him too much to be able to make his escape.
